Set at: Roberto Cavalli, Giorgio Armani, Carolina Herrera and Alexander Wang.
This look graced the catwalk at many of the greatest designers - and it's perfect for the person who prefers a neutral, yet dramatic eye makeup look. On the catwalk, there was a wide mix of textures; matt, shiny, sparkly and metallic. All variants performs well both day and evening - especially if you combine it with nude lips and tousled hair, as we saw in Roberto Cavalli. The look is a modern version of Brigitte Bardot seductive look from the 1960s.
Seen at: Dsquared2, Emilio Pucci, and Nanette Lepore.
Eye makeup a la 1960s is iconic and not to be ignored, as was evident in the season's many catwalks. The look was interpreted in a myriad of different ways; graphic eyeliner, light pastels and a real baby doll look. No matter how you want to recreate the look, there is no doubt that the look will open your eyes and make them sparkle.
Seen at: Matthew Williamson, Derek Lam and Vera Wang.
Plum, purple and lavender is not to be ignored! To create the season's hottest catwalk trends in a day's friendly version, you should go for bright lavender shades. They are not quite as offensive as the other violet colors. On a beautiful evening look, you may want to create smokey eye with flowered colored shades.
